02 / About

Hello, I'm Sid. Most marketing jobs hand you one slice: a channel, a deck, a campaign. I've worked the other version: the whole brief, from the founder's priorities down to whether the thing actually shipped.

At Xpresso Global I worked out of the CEO's office, close enough to see how a founder weighs a call before any brief gets written. At a forex startup I ran marketing solo: no one to hand the hard part to, watching the funnel every day and moving budget onto whatever was converting until the company hit breakeven.

I read funnel data the way most people read a room, and I don't sign off on a campaign until it's moved a real number. The trackers, the SOPs, the daily drop-off checks are the unglamorous half of the job, and it's the half I like.

Before any of this I was in design school, on After Effects and a camera. I still build brand identities for the fun of it. The last one was for a collective called Neram. It's why I can sit in a creative review and actually say what's wrong.

03 / What I do

Four things I actually do,
not four lines on a CV.

I

Brand & campaign strategy

Positioning, campaign planning, and the brief that survives its own launch date, worked out from the founder's priorities down to what each team ships on Monday.

II

Multi-channel campaigns

Paid and organic across Meta, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn: audience research, A/B tests, performance creative, landing pages, and the reporting that says which of them actually worked.

III

Event direction

Branding, creative direction, vendor and stakeholder coordination, and on-ground execution for multi-day brand events. Most recently Summit of Future and Money Conclave.

IV

Growth operations

The trackers, SOPs, and reporting cadence that keep a funnel honest and a team pointed the same way.

Enough about the method. Here's what it looked like with a deadline attached.

04 / Selected work

Filter the work
by what it took.

Everything here ran through Xpresso Global, Kozhikode. Filter by the kind of work it took.

Where the work concentrated.

01
StrategyCampaigns

Calicut FC

Two seasons of matchday content, live from the stand.

Ran Calicut FC's Instagram from scratch across two seasons. Built a live-matchday system: a graphics and motion team on-site pushing real-time posters and goal cutouts as the match happened, so fans had the story in their feed before they'd left the stadium.

StrategyEvents

Summit of Future

Seven days, seven tracks, international speakers.

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) Kochi's IP, co-created with Xpresso. Ran branding, creative direction across video and digital, and input on ticket strategy, plus the vendor and inter-team logistics underneath it.

StrategyEvents

Money Conclave

India's Global Wealth and Investment Summit, no partner institution.

Co-founded by Xpresso's CEO. Same remit as Summit of Future (strategy, branding, creative direction across video, digital, and every post), but no partner institution this time, so all of it sat on our side.

StrategyGrowth ops

Cross-Functional Ops

Air-traffic control for every brand the agency touched.

Sat across every brand Xpresso touched, signed and still being pitched, in the client meetings, then keeping strategy, creative, production, sales, and finance moving in step afterward. Built the processes and trackers that let the team hold that standard at scale.

05
CampaignsGrowth ops

Multi-Channel Campaigns

Four to five brands, four platforms, one story.

Paid and organic for four to five agency clients at once: Aster Medcity, The B School International, Espanshe, and Indian Institute of Commerce / Lakshya. Planning, targeting, creative rollout, and the reporting that held the story together from channel to channel while conversion climbed.

06 / What I'm looking for

A brand to run point on.

01

A Brand Manager or brand/growth role at a D2C or startup team. One brand, mine to run.

02

A team that'll trade a longer CV for someone who's already run strategy, campaigns, and events under real pressure.

03

Bangalore, starting immediately, and drawn to brands that still feel a little unfinished.

07 / How I work

Room, brief, ship, read.

01

Get in the room

Before anything gets made, I want the founder's actual priority, not the version that survived three meetings.

02

Write the brief that survives

One brief strategy, creative, production, sales and finance can all work from. If it falls apart in launch week it was never a brief.

03

Ship it everywhere at once

Paid, organic, on-ground. Same story on every channel, one launch date, no channel left improvising.

04

Read it daily

Open the funnel every morning. Move budget onto what's converting. Fix the leak before the month closes.

08 / Get in touch

Let's talk about the brand you're building.
